White Sauce Spaghetti

Spaghetti with White Sauce made with Kuze Fuku & Sons Vegetable Umami Dashi Soup Broth.


Serves 2-3
  • ★Vegetable Umami Dashi (contents of 2 packets)

  • Shimeji Mushrooms

  • 1/2 Onion

  • 4 slices Bacon

  • 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil

  • 500 mL Milk

  • 50g Melted Cheese

  • 200g Pasta

  • Salt to taste

  • Black Pepper to taste


Cut the base from the shimeji mushrooms and break them up. Cut onion into 2 mm slices. Cut bacon into 1 cm pieces. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and sauté shimeji mushrooms, onion and bacon until softened. Add milk and the contents of 2 packets of Vegetable Umami Dashi and heat until just before boiling. The edges should be puffy. If it gets too hot, it will spill over or form a film.

Add cheese and melt well. Season with a pinch of salt. Place the pasta in a bowl, pour the sauce mixture over the pasta, and sprinkle with black pepper.
