Teriyaki Chicken Sandwiches

Tasty minestrone made with Kuze Fuku & Sons Vegetable Umami Dashi.


Serves 2
  • 300g Chicken Thigh

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • A dash of Flour

  • 2 Tsp Oil

  • 5 Tbsp Mayonnaise

  • ★ Vegetable Umami Dashi (contents of 1/3 packet)

  • 2-3 sprigs of Sunny Lettuce

  • 2-3 slices of Red Onion

  • 2 slices of Tomato

  • 4 slices of Bread of your choice



Remove sinews and oil from the chicken thigh, cut open along the grain, even out the thickness, cut in half, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and flour. Heat oil in a frying pan and brown the chicken thighs, starting from the skin. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise and the contents of 1/3 packet of Vegetable Umami Dashi. Place red onion, chicken, tomato slices, sunny lettuce, and mayonnaise mixture on the bread, in that order, and sandwich the ingredients. While lightly pressing down, cut the sandwich in half and stake with a pick.
