Newberg, Oregon-based St.Cousair, Inc., maker of Kuze Fuku & Sons products, recently had the honor of participating in the Soulful Giving Blanket Concert, an annual charity event sponsored by the Soulful Giving Charitable Foundation, raising funds for research and support for area families battling pediatric cancer. The event was held on Saturday, August 3 at Yoshida Group Chairman Junki Yoshida’s Garden View Estate in Troutdale.
Kuze Fuku & Sons’ popular Yuzu Fruit Vinegar was featured at a booth at the event, and 100% of the proceeds from each drink sold will go to the Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel and to Providence Cancer Research Center through the Soulful Giving Charitable Foundation.
St.Cousair President Naoki Kuze said of the event, “We are very proud of our customers, team, and company. There were many customers who bought our drinks and paid much more than the actual price. We are so thankful for that!” Naoki also thanked Junki and Linda Yoshida and the Yoshida family, who so generously invited St.Cousair to participate in the effort to raise funds for the fight against pediatric cancer.
The Yoshidas recently donated their Garden View Estate in Troutdale to Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. Naoki said the gesture brought tears to the eyes of many in attendance at the event, and said of the Yoshidas, “What an amazing family!”
