Cabbage Rolls & Chicken with Tomato Sauce

Cabbage Rolls stuffed with rice and braised in our Garlic & Tomato Sauce. Served with potatoes, onion, and chicken.


Serves 2
  • 3/4 cup Kuze Fuku & Sons Garlic & Tomato Sauce

  • 4 small Potatoes

  • 1 Onion

  • 1/2 cup steamed Rice

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 3 tsp Butter

  • Chopped parsley (amount as desired)

  • 2 boiled Cabbage leaves

  • 1 Chicken thigh, boneless

  • Flour

  • Salt & Pepper

  • 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil

  • 1/2 cup Water

  • 1 tsp Chicken broth

  • Watercress (optional)


Wash potatoes well, wrap in plastic wrap and heat in microwave for 4-5 minutes. Peel onion, wrap in plastic wrap and heat in microwave for 4 minutes. Cut onion into 4 equally-sized parts.

Combine rice, Italian seasoning, butter and parsley in a bowl and mix well. Place half the contents of the bowl mixture on one piece of boiled cabbage, roll the cabbage and secure it with a toothpick or string. Repeat for the other cabbage leaf.

Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle on flour until well coated. Add a dash of salt and pepper. Put olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken on medium heat, turning over as needed. Add Kuze Fuku & Sons Garlic & Tomato Sauce, water, chicken broth, potatoes and onion, cover and simmer over medium heat for about 10 to 5 minutes. Remove to a plate and serve, with a small amount of watercress.
