Based on our original recipe in Japan, we decided to upgrade the flavor by having a richer amount of orange peel content, using domestically-sourced ingredients. Adding more than twice as much orange peel as our old recipe (and other typical orange marmalades on the market), it gives great balance of sweetness and bitterness as well as the rich texture of the orange peels. The Story Behind our Orange Marmalade Premium - Why It Is So Special?

It began by accident. When we were trying to replicate our original marmalade recipe from Japan, we accidentally added too much orange peel into the pot. When the product came out, it contained more than twice as much of orange peel as we initially intended. However, when we tried it, it tasted far more satisfactory than the origial recipe and we decided to go with the new recipe instead.

Thanks to the rich amount of orange peel, we do not use any pectin (typically used to solidify jam), thus making it taste less jelly-like and more enjoyable both for flavor and the texture. Enjoy the rich fruity flavor that you cannot taste in any other marmalade!

Where Does the Orange Peel Come From?

While the marmalade is produced in our own facility in Oregon, the orange peels we use in it are sourced from California, known for its high-quality orange crop blessed by the state's mild and dry climate. Because of these ideal conditions for producing oranges, our orange peels end up tasting very juicy, with thicker peels, which contributes to their great taste and texture.

While orange marmalade is originally derived from Europe, our Orange Marmalade Premium has found appeal with customers from Spain and Italy as well, thanks to the abundant, lucious oranges used in it. Try it on anything you like and enjoy this "next level" orange marmalade!
