Japanese Style Carbonara

A delightful recipe of Spaghetti Carbonara using Kuze Fuku & Sons Dashi Soup Broth. Adds a nice Japanese touch to your favorite Italian food!


Serves 1
  • 3.5 oz Spaghetti

  • 1 tbsp Salt

  • 1 tbsp Cream

  • 1 Egg Yolk

  • 1 tbsp Miso

  • 1 tbsp Parmesian Cheese

  • 1 packet Kuze Fuku & Sons Dashi Soup Broth

  • Dried Bonito Flakes (Katuobushi)

  • Ikura

  • Nori


Add salt to a pot of boiling water and boil the spaghetti until al dente. Drain. In a pan, on low heat, add cream, egg yolk, and miso. Mix well. Add parmesian cheese and Banno Dashi and mix well. Mix in the spaghetti until well blended. Remove from heat and serve, topped with dried bonito flakes, ikura and nori.
